Coconut Water For Weight Loss: How It Sheds Off Those Extra Pounds

People wanted to stay fit. Well, of course, that’s human nature my friends. People hit the gym, take on slimming pills, go on diet, cut down unhealthy eating, indulge on natural fruits and vegetables, do everything in the name of weight loss. Little did they know that one natural way of burning fats is by drinking COCONUT WATER.
Coconut water can be pretty tricky but under the right circumstances, it can be a powerful weapon in your weight loss program. Here’s how:

Pure coconut water promotes good hydration and increases our body’s metabolic rate.

Proper hydration has been scientifically proven to help with weight loss. If you are hydrated, you are less likely to store fat in your body to help raise your body temperature. Because if you are dehydrated, your body temperature drops a little bit. During dehydration, your metabolism is affected negatively in this way, which makes you feel starving all the time.

More so, if you have good hydration, your skin will look healthy and glowing. So, drink coconut water for weight loss and achieve a brighter, glowing skin.

Coconut water has low-calories and can be substituted with other sweet drinks.

A glass of coconut water has only 46 calories. Drinking coconut water in place of a high-calorie drink, like your flavored sodas, can help you lose weight over time because you’ll be consuming fewer calories overall.

It contains saturated fat.

Coconut water contains 3% of saturated fat. It is better to drink coconut water than eating a diet high in fat, because high fat diet can make it harder for you to safely lose weight.

Coconut water fights against cholesterol.

According to a, 2006 issue of the Journal of Medicinal Food, an animal study on the benefits of coconut water and cholesterol levels, researchers have found that rats that fed coconut water has a lower overall “bad” cholesterol levels, namely low-density lipoproteins and triglycerides. In turn, the rats’ healthy or “good” cholesterol — high-density lipoprotein — increased with the coconut water diet. Results were promising, however, scientists concluded that a further long-term study of this finding on humans were necessary.

Using coconut water for weight loss makes sense because today, there are plenty of gym clubs that will advise you to drink coconut water post work out. Hence, there’s no need to spend on with those expensive artificially flavored drinks as you will consume more sugar than you have been trying to burn burn during work out. These drinks have definitely high calorie content, whilst coconut water controls it.
